Continuous Improvement
- Basically, the general strategy is to discover. Find new product targets and new keywords for you to target.
- Launch you're going to continuously be launching new campaigns.
- Optimize you're continuously adjusting your bids to optimize for profit or for rank depending on what you want to do.
- Refresh, you want to refresh old bids that dropped significantly and to refresh those every single time your listing significantly changes.
- Either you have more reviews, you drop the price, better images, and so on, and then repeat.
- Continuously repeat and always growing.
What is Iteration?
itβs almost like when you hop into the shower and you want to set the temperature of the water. There is no formula. You don't calculate exactly how many turns the hot water and the cold water knob needs to be for you to get the perfect shower.

π‘ What you do is you turn one knob and you turn the other knob and then you put your hand under the water. And then if it's too cold, you turn the hot water knob a little higher. And then it might get too hot and then you turn the cold water knob a little higher or you might close the hot water knob a little bit until you get to that perfect temperature.

-
Iteration is what you do when you're trying to control the temperature of the water in the shower. There is no exact answer. There is no right answer. All you can do is put your hand out to the data and look at it and measure it and feel it. And if the data is saying too expensive, you might want to drop the bids.
- Look at the Search Term Reports and you start testing them.
- If those keywords are doing well, you keep bidding on them.
- If they're not doing well, you drop the bid.
- It's always a continuous cycle of you basically putting your hand.

π‘ Amazon's changing its rules, so you always have to be up to date with the rules, of the algorithm. It's always continuous improvement.

- This course is always gonna try and encompass the most up-to-date information. But make sure that you're always staying in touch with Amazon and going to conferences, learning from other people.
- This course is gonna give you a very solid foundation and teach a lot of advanced stuff, but there's always something new to learn.
- You always have to be a student. PPC is never going to be set-it-and-forget-it. You would really try and stay away from automation, like having software just do everything for you.
- You need to really understand PPC. You need to understand what it's doing. And then you need to make sure that you're monitoring it and you're testing it
- There's a lot more to it, it all comes down to you and your personal product and every single product's gonna be different.
- It comes down with testing different strategies and understanding how to test things.
- It's all about understanding the basic foundational concepts, understanding the tools that you have under your hands, and being able to test all different things and understand where to find the results of those tests and look at those results and interpret those results in the correct manner and then take action based on the results.
