Campaign Name
Refer to the Campaign Name Convention. This will be the same name as the Ad group name.
Format: Product identifier – Ad Type – Match Type – Purpose – Source – Additional
Example: FAL - SB - IMG 5 - Top KWs - Phrase - 1
Portfolio - select the portfolio where the campaign is going to be in
Every single campaign should be in a portfolio that sorts all of your products. So if you have a single product, just create one portfolio and put everything in there.
Start and End Dates - Don't put an end date if you want it to never end but you should if you want the campaign to end for some reason, maybe you're creating a specific type of campaign that's going to start and end like during Prime Day or Black Friday settlement.
Daily budget - I recommend at least $100 but you're not going to spend it all in a day. You can control the budget by lowering the bid. So if you lower the bids, it's not going to spend enough. If you put a 10 cent bid and a thousand dollars budget, it's not going to spend any money.
Brand - choose the applicable brand
Bidding
Automated bidding:
Turn on when you want Amazon to automatically adjust placements for these campaigns.
Turn off when you want to have strong control over these campaigns especially when we want to test something or be very aggressive.
Decrease by - By default, Amazon sets this to decrease by 30%. However, we usually want to scale our sales to be more visible. So, instead, we change this to Increase by.
Increase by - We can set it at 5% to start. This is the amount of how much our bid can increase if Amazon can detect some potential sales for our product.
